Neste último domingo (14), aconteceu o Emmy Awards 2025, evento que premia as principais produções do mundo da TV e do streaming. Na categoria “Melhor Especial de Variedades (Ao Vivo)“, quem levou a vitória foi o programa Saturday Night Live, com o especial comemorativo “SNL50: The Anniversary Special”.
O episódio celebrava os 50 anos de existência do SNL e contou com um time de peso para as apresentações: Sabrina Carpenter cantou “Homeward Bound” ao lado de Paul Simon; Miley Cyrus, responsável por apresentar “Nothing Compares 2 U”, música de Prince, Brittany Howard; Adam Sandler fez uma performance de “50 Years”; Lil Wayne e The Roots fizeram um medley e Paul McCartney cantou um medley de “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End”.
O “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” estava concorrendo pela estatueta com Beyoncé, no “Beyoncé Bowl”, Kendrick Lamar, com “The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar”, “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” e o Oscar.
