A Academia Televisiva revelou no início do mês de agosto os indicados à 72ª cerimônia do Emmy Awards. A celebração está prevista para acontecer no dia 20 de setembro, por meio de uma versão online, em decorrência da pandemia do novo coronavírus.
O Emmy Awards é a mais prestigiada premiação, que a Academia de Artes e Ciência Televisiva dos EUA elege séries, minisséries e telefilmes que mais se destacaram em suas categorias.
