O U2 anunciou para o dia 17 de março uma coletânea de regravações chamada “Songs Of Surrender”. O projeto terá 40 músicas, com curadoria e produção de The Edge, e incluirá releituras de “With Or Without You”, “One” e “Sunday Bloody Sunday”.
“A essência dessas músicas ainda está em nós, mas como nos reconectarmos com essa essência quando mudamos e crescemos tanto? A música permite que você viaje no tempo e então começamos a pensar como seria trazer essas músicas para os dias atuais e imaginá-las no século 21”, explicou The Edge em carta aos fãs.
Para divulgar o trabalho, a banda disponibilizou uma nova versão de “Pride (In The Name of Love)”, do álbum “The Unforgettable Fire” (1984). Ouça abaixo e confira a tracklist completa:
